<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining method hardly generating machining waste, by using a laser beam. SOLUTION: A laser beam generated from a laser oscillator 11 is made to scan by a polygon mirror 12 directing from one end side to the other end side in the lateral direction of a metal plate 10 being sent at a certain speed, and the rotation axis of the polygon mirror is displaced during the scanning according to the variating amount of the sending speed of the metal plate to move the radiating position of the laser beam in the direction parallel with the sending direction of the metal plate, thereby enabling the metal plate to be machined in its lateral direction.</p> |
