<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a diaphragm pump capable of realizing a leak in a liquid sealing system to prevent the leak completely even if a diaphragm is broken unexpectedly. SOLUTION: In this structure in which the diaphragm 4 provided in a diaphragm cover 7 partitions into a hydraulic fluid (oil liquid) chamber 5 and a treated liquid chamber 6 and a plunger 3 increasing and decreasing a pressure of hydraulic fluid 9 reciprocates automatically by a cross head 2, a difference in step part 31 is provided in a halfway part of the plunger 3 to provide a difference in diameter ofϕD>ϕd orϕd>ϕD, a liquid collection chamber 23 is formed outside a difference in diameter part, and gland packings 17, 17' are provided at a plurality of steps in the front and the rear of the liquid collection chamber 23. Furthermore, balls 25, 25' of a check valve are provided in the liquid collection chamber 23 to circulate leaking hydraulic fluid 27 in a leak tank 8' or 8" automatically by pumping action, thereby realizing complete liquid sealing system.</p> |
