摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an engine load, without arranging a throttle sensor, and to estimate atmospheric pressure using a simple software processing, without having to arrange an exclusive atmospheric pressure sensor. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit(ECU) 20 takes in intake pressure accompanying intake pulsation detected by an intake pressure sensor 21, and a rotating speed detected by a rotating speed sensor 23, when operating an engine 3. The ECU 20 calculates a fluctuation width of intake pressure pulsation from a detecting result of the intake pressure, detects the fluctuation width as a correlative value of a load state, and detects the load state. The ECU 20 estimates the atmospheric pressure, by adding boost pressure predetermined at high load time under standard atmospheric pressure to a value of the intake pressure when the correlative value indicates a high load according to the difference in the rotational speed. The ECU 20 corrects the fuel injection quantity and the ignition timing by an estimate of the atmospheric pressure, and executes fuel injection control and ignition timing control.
