PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a leather-like fiber sheet not requiring specific facilities needed for obtaining a high-grade suede, having the same appearance and feeling as those of a leather-like fiber sheet obtained by an impregnation with a polymer elastic body solution under the processing condition of the water system. SOLUTION: This fiber sheet for artificial leather comprises a porous fiber assembly which is one composed of fibers comprising 10-100 mass % of wet-heat adhesive crimped fiber and having <=3.3 dtex single fiber fineness, in the inside of which a great number of cellular void parts exist, and at least a part of the fibers constituting the assembly are thermally bonded by the wet-heat adhesive crimped fiber.
