SUBSTANCE: method of ammonia production from hydrocarbon materials, steam and air includes compression and purification of raw materials from sulfur compounds, steam and steam-air catalytic conversion of methane, conversion of carbon monoxide, purification of obtained nitrogen-hydrogen mixture from oxygen-containing compounds, compression, ammonia synthesis in closed cycle, use of raw materials nonpurified from sulfur compounds as fuel, utilization of heat of flue gases and separation of flue gases and discharge to environment. In this case, a part of raw materials purified from sulfur compounds is throttled to atmospheric pressure, burnt in mixture with air and produced flue gases after utilization of their heat are compressed and directed for steam-air catalytic conversion of methane. Value of a part of raw materials purified from sulfur compounds and directed for burning with air is equal to 0.001-0.048 of amount of hydrocarbon materials and ratio of amount of flue gases directed for methane conversion to amount of air directed for steam-air catalytic conversion of methane equals 0.0146-1.685. EFFECT: reduced specific consumption of hydrocarbon materials and decreased amount of flue gases ejected to atmosphere. 2 ex |
