PURPOSE: A method and a system for managing a lottery ticket business using a bankbook account are provided to enable a lottery ticket businessman to save a cost and a human power for issuing, selling, and withdrawing lottery tickets and enable a lottery ticket buyer to receive a lottery ticket number and check a drawing automatically. CONSTITUTION: A client(10) applies a bankbook account lottery ticket to one's account in a corresponding financial institution(20). The client(10) selects an off-line lottery ticket number. In addition, the client(10) selects and prepares the number of lottery ticket numbers and an amount of using contract money for a bankbook account lottery ticket service and submits the contents to the financial institution(20) in a financial transaction using a bankbook account. If the client(10) requests a bankbook account lottery ticket service, the bank(20) processes a bankbook account lottery ticket service registration of the client(10) using a lottery ticket service registration processing unit of a bank computer system(200). Various kinds of information(off-line lottery ticket name, contract money etc.) processed in the lottery ticket service registration processing unit is stored in a bank database. If the client performs a financial transaction and the balance of the bankbook is more than the contract money, a non-embodied lottery ticket number is recorded in the bankbook of the client(10) and money according to the record is paid.
