PURPOSE: A method for forming an authoring tool is provided to draw an Indian ink painting using a graphic tool on a computer. CONSTITUTION: An Indian ink painting program is executed on a computer(101). When the Indian ink painting program is executed, a menu bar is displayed for selecting brush strokes, an ink making, and a Chinese drawing paper(104). One Chinese drawing paper is selected out of a plurality of Chinese drawing papers in the menu bar for selecting a Chinese drawing paper(105). A wanted brush stroke is selected out of a plurality of brush stroke kinds in the displayed brush strokes menu bar(107,108). A wanted ink making is selected out of a plurality of ink makings in the displayed ink making menu bar(109,110). A writing brush corresponded to the selected ink making and a brush management is selected, and a picture is written on a painting plate corresponded to the selected Chinese drawing paper(111).
