PURPOSE: A pointer of a car is provided to commonly use the pointer without regard to kinds of pointer operating members, and to reduce a manufacturing cost of a new car by mounting a pair of elastic clips in an assembly hole of a plate. CONSTITUTION: A pointer of a car includes a pair of elastic clips(31,32). The elastic clips elastically support a rotating shaft(21) of a pointer operating member in an inner direction of an assembly hole(12b) formed in a plate(12). The elastic clips are in the form of a wave and ends of the clips face each other inside the assembly hole. The plate, on which the elastic clips are mounted and face each other, an indicator having an end connected to the plate, and an indicator cap(13) connected to a side of the plate are mounted inside the assembly hole.
