PURPOSE: A method for transmitting signal in portable phone is provided to simply perform a calling and a message transmission between a specific recipient having the most frequent calling and an originator. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs previously information on a specific opponent such as a telephone number, a memorable day, a schedule, etc. to a memory of the portable phone(S1). When calling or transmitting a message with/to the specific opponent, the user inputs a quick button equipped to the body of the portable phone(S2). Thereafter, the information on the opponent stored to the memory is displayed and the message transmission/reception contents with the specific opponent is displayed(S3). When the user selects a call menu in the LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) window, the signal is transmitted to a telephone number of the specific opponent and then calling with the opponent is achieved(S4). When the user selects a message transmission menu, an input window is displayed and the letters for transmitting are inputted by the user(S5). Thereafter, the inputted message is transmitted to the portable phone of the specific opponent(S6).
