PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to achieve improved durability of the apparatus, while maintaining matching performance of fuel gauge. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a power terminal(10) for supplying an ignition power when a vehicle power is applied; a first resistance(R1) having a terminal connected to the power terminal so as to pull-up the power being supplied; a second resistance(R2) having a terminal coupled to the other terminal of the first resistance, and the other terminal connected to a ground terminal(GND); and an output terminal(20) connected to a terminal where the first resistance and the second resistance are coupled, and which outputs a predetermined pulse width modulation signal in accordance with the change in the second resistance. The output current is calculated by the formula of ignition voltage/(R1 + R2).
