PURPOSE: A structure for cleaning a dust filter of a vacuum cleaner is provided to remove minute dust sticking to a surface of the dust filter by introducing air into the dust filter through an auxiliary pipe. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary pipe(26) extends from one side of an exhaust pipe(24) to a duct section(31) of a motor housing(30). The exhaust pipe(24) guides exhaust air from a dust box(16) to the motor housing(30). The duct section(31) of the motor housing(30) installed at a suction port(12) of the motor housing(30) towards an exhaust part. The auxiliary pipe(26) is connected to the duct section(31) of the motor housing(30) and closely adjacent to the exhaust part formed at a sidewall of a body. A valve(20) is provided at a joint part between the auxiliary pipe(26) and the exhaust pipe(24) to vary the flow of air.
