PURPOSE: A circuit for generating a power-up signal is provided to generate a stable power-up signal regardless of a variation of temperature and a variation of a processing condition. CONSTITUTION: A level detection portion(30) is formed with a multitude of pull-up transistors(N12 to N14) and a multitude of pull-down transistors(N15,N16) in order to detect a level of supply voltage. An inverter(IN13) inverts a power-up signal(PWRUP) and generates a power-up signal. A thermal sensor portion(20) is used for detecting temperature. A compensation portion(22) provides compensating voltage to the level detection portion(30) according to an output signal of the thermal sensor portion(20). The level detection portion is formed with a multitude of fuses(F1 to F5), a multitude of NMOS transistors(N12 to N16), a capacitor(C11), and an inverter(IN12). The compensation portion(22) is formed with a PMOS transistor(P11) and an NMOS transistor(N11).
