PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of artificial marble used for wall panels and floor materials is provided, which offers natural crack patterns, various colors, and gloss surface according to consumer's demands. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method comprises the steps of: plastering mold release agent to a mold, and spray-coating with gel coater in a thickness of 0.2-0.4mm; spraying crack paints such as nitrocellulose lacquer before hardening of gel coating and thermal treating at 40-50deg.C for 30-40min.; preparing a mixture for making artificial marble by mixing unsaturated polyester resin, stone powder and pigment, where resin and stone powder is mixed in a ratio of 1:3; feeding the mixture to the mold and thermal treating at 50-60deg.C(or 80-90deg.C) for 40-60min.; de-molding and thermal treating at 80-90deg.C for 2hrs.; cooling and cutting.
