PURPOSE: A structure for opening and closing air vent of vehicle is provided to open and close a door using an existing wing type knob. CONSTITUTION: A structure includes a screw cylinder(30) having a rack bar(22) attached on one end thereof to be engaged with a pair gears(20,20') and an internal screw formed therein; and a screw shaft(32) having a knob(34) attached on one end and an external screw formed thereon to be engaged with the internal screw inside the screw cylinder. The knob is rotated to rotate the screw shaft so that the screw cylinder engaged with the screw shaft linearly moves to move the rack bar. A pair of doors(14,14') are opened and closed centering on hinges(16) as the gears are rotated by movement of the rack bar to open and close a passage of an air duct.
