MARKING PEN EXCELLENT IN CAP-OFF PERFORMANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking pen excellent in a cap-off performance and realizing an excellent writing performance even when a penpoint is left in the air for a long time. SOLUTION: The marking pen contains at least a colorant, a solvent and a resin as ink constituents, while the penpoint formed of a fibrous or plastic core is coated with a coating agent constituted of a substance giving cap-off properties thereto. The coating agent contains petroleum wax or the like constituted mainly of a hydrocarbon having a side chain.
