摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a glass ceramic substrate having extremely good dimensional accuracy and good surface conditions by surely constraining the sintering contraction of a glass ceramic green sheet laminated body. SOLUTION: This method comprises processes of (i) making a laminated body 1' having a concavity A by laminating glass ceramic green sheets, (ii) laminating constraining green sheets 3' containing flame-resistant inorganic materials and an organic binder by filling an inorganic composition 2' for constraining in the concavity A of the laminated body 1' and interposing adhesive material layers containing glass and a solvent on both sides of the laminated body, (iii) making a glass ceramic substrate 1 holding the sintered constraining sheet 3 by removing organic elements from the laminated body and then sintering it and (iv) removing the constraining sheet 3 and the inorganic composition 2 for constraining from the substrate 1 while (v) the glass content of the adhesive material layers is the quantity used to adhere the constraining green sheet 3 to the composition 2' and the laminated body 1' during sintering and removed from the glass ceramic substrate 1 together with the constraining sheet 3 and the composition 2 after sintering.
