PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric ceramic composition and a piezoelectric resonator which can enlarge the ratio of P/V, excel in temperature stability of oscillation frequency, can enhance the strength of ceramic and can deal with a high frequency in the wide frequency range of 2-20 MHz. SOLUTION: The composition is characterized by containing a main component, which satisfies that, when a composition formula by a molar ratio is denoted as Bi4Ti3O12.x (1-y)(Sr1-aγa)TiO3.yABO3}, x is 0.5<=x<=1.0, y is 0<y<=0.3, a is 0<=a<=0.8, A is at least one kind among Bi, Na, K and Li, B is Fe and/or Nb and γ is at least one kind among Ba, Ca, (Bi0.5Na0.5), (Bi0.5Li0.5) and (Bi0.5K0.5), and Mn 0.05-1.0 pts.wt. in terms of MnO2 per the main component 100 pts.wt.. |
