SUBSTANCE: grinding disc has intermittent working surface with regular profile such as thread profile. Working surface of grinding disc has even number of portions. Each portion is profiled with pitch P, where P - profile pitch of ground blank, with threads removed in one and with straight generatrix of surface between remained threads. Profiles of portions of working surface are mutually shifted by value P. Threads of blank are ground in one and each apex of thread profile is worked at one side. Next working portion works other side of thread profile. EFFECT: enhanced quality and efficiency of grinding due to lowered more than twice thermal stress of process. 3 dwg
