<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder filling device for filling powder in high density into a container storing the powder such as a toner for a copying machine. SOLUTION: A container 48 is set in the filling device body 41, and a filling nozzle 43 is lowered and sealed by setting it at a filling opening of the container 48. A deaerating nozzle 44 is inserted into the container 48 by a cylinder 45. Filling of the powder such as the toner starts by rotating an auger shaft 46 after lowering the deaerating nozzle 44. The number of times to be filled in one container 48, seconds to be elapsed between each filling and the like are set beforehand. Afterward, a first filling is performed. Deaeration, a vibrator 47 of the filling nozzle 43 and a knocker 50 of the container 48 are set ON. Deaeration, the knocker 50, filling and the vibrator 47 are continuously set ON after a predetermined volume of powder is supplied, and until next filling, and the powder in the container 48 is lowered. Afterward, deaeration is set OFF, the deaeration nozzle 44 is backwashed, and a second filling starts by lifting the deaeration nozzle 44. This is repeated a predetermined number of times.</p> |
