<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a time displayed based on received time information conformed all the time to a local time in a location where a broadcast is received, without carrying out troublesome judgment and a troublesome operation that a user inputs a time difference using a receiver capable of receiving a digital radio broadcast executed in an area having plural standard times as in the USA. SOLUTION: A CPU of the receiver reads differential time information from a RAM, when receiving the time information multiplexed by acoustic information, to be added to the received time information, and the local time is displayed on a time display part 161 based on a local time information of an addition result therein. The user operates a jog dial, and corrects the local time displayed on the display part 161 to make it conformed to the time in the location where the broadcast is received. The user is required to change only a numeral about a unit of 'time'. The CPU corrects the differential time information on the RAM to a plus direction or a minus direction by the correction of the user. The CPU adds hereafter the differential time information after the correction to the received time information, and displays the local time after the correction on the time display part 161 based on the local time information of the addition result.</p> |
