PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pilot with air area information necessary for navigation by using information from a GPS and an altimeter, and to contribute to the safety of navigation by automatically selecting an aerial chart and a city plan. SOLUTION: Air area information is displayed on a dedicated display screen based on horizontal position information obtained by a GPS receiver and altitude information obtained by the altimeter. Further, the display can be automatically switched from altitude information, speed information, etc., to an aerial chart and a city map. |
