PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetizing device for water, which can be easily applied to a water-conducting pipe having a large diameter and has a strong water cluster decomposing action to accelerate water activation furthermore. SOLUTION: A magnet is attached to the outside of a water-conducting pipe, such as a steel pipe 1, so that the south pole faces inward and the north pole faces outward, thereby forming an image magnet 4 at a position symmetric to the magnet about the surface L of the water-conducting pipe, and applying the action of high-density magnetic lines heading to the south pole of the image magnet 4, to water in the water-conducting pipe.
