PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint shielding device capable of longitudinally and laterally expansively and contractively sliding in the state keeping an airtight state, even in the different longitudinal and lateral shakings of lateral buildings by an earthquake or the like, to absorb the shakings. SOLUTION: This joint shielding device comprises a cylindrical airtight sheet for expansibly and contractively covering the joint part-side circumferential parts of lateral opening parts formed to mutually connect the lateral buildings built through a joint part; a fixture for fixing one end part of the airtight sheet to the skeleton on the joint part-side circumferential part of the opening of one building in an airtight state; a flange-like airtight sheet support frame fixed to the other end part of the airtight sheet in an airtight state; and an airtight sheet support frame support capable of slidably supporting the airtight sheet support frame in at least the longitudinal direction, which is fixed to the skeleton on the joint part-side circumferential part of the opening of the other building.
