Plastic burial vaults of imitation stone grp panels - with automatic compensation against underground crushing

Vaults mfd. as two prefabricated sections with double skinned walls made from panels of GRP enclosing an expanded polymeric core. Pref. all component panels are cut from the master sheet having an imitation stone appearance/texture, pref. marble or granite. Joints are concealed and sealed with a suitable resin or mastic. The walls feature concealed tie bars from end to end joined by a tension coupling and sprung inwards by thrust beams so that compressive pressures on the vault tension the tie bars and correspondingly stiffen the vault walls. The two parts may be bonded together on site by cast joints which are prepd. with the components inverted and invisible in the final installation. Lighter and more quickly erected than conventional brick or concrete vaults. Well insulated and completely waterproof.
