PURPOSE: A TD voice unit of the transferring system providing a congestion tone is provided to offer the congestion tone to an originator when a recipient does not answer the telephone within a constant time, so that the originator does not have to hold the telephone when the recipient is out. CONSTITUTION: An RX signal processing unit(2) receives audio data signal transmitted from a transmitter, transmits the signal to the TD telephone set(1) of a recipient and then outputs a congestion tone to the transmitter after the passage of the constant time. An RX signal unit(3) receives the control signal transmitted from the transmitter, processes the signal and then transmits the processed signal to the TD telephone set(1) of the recipient. A TX signal unit(4) searches a hook on/off signal inputted from the TD telephone set(1) of the recipient and then outputs the corresponding signal to the opponent recipient.
