PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational, efficient and high luminous linear light-emitting body and columnar light-emitting body, whose outer peripheral parts of the arbitrary length parts in the longitudinal direction emit light. SOLUTION: In a light conductor of an optical fiber system, consisting of a transparent synthetic resin core alone (core alone), since the core which is a total reflection area in the light conductor and an ambient air boundary surface are nearly parallel to the longitudinal direction on the optical fiber, but are not finely parallel, light beam angles of respective reflection points are not also finely uniform. Then, a phenomenon that an angle of the light beam in the advancing direction to the longitudinal direction is diversified, in accordance with a distance from a light source exists. A part of propagating light is transmitted from the side surface by providing a fine linear projection group just like a screw in the outer periphery of the light conductor, utilizing the diversification phenomenon of the light beam radiation angle, and whereby a structure with the outer periphery of the light conductor substantially uniformly emits high luminous light over the arbitrary length part is obtained. |
