PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic pipe device capable of improving a holding force against a load and securely and easily fixing a telescopic body at a requested position and releasing the fixing. SOLUTION: The telescopic device 1 comprises a telescopic pipe 2 including a plurality of pipe members with different inner diameters connected to each other to be telescopic, and a support mechanism 4 for supporting and fixing the telescopic pipe 2 in the arbitrary length. In the telescopic pipe device 1, the support mechanism 4 has a band-like tubular spring 11 and a band-like body 16. One end of the tubular spring 11 is wound to a first winding shaft 10, and the other end is fixed to the top of the telescopic pipe 2, and the tubular spring 11 is given stress to deform a part fed out from the first winding shaft 10 in a nearly cylindrical shape. The band-like body 16 overlaps at least with a part of the tubular spring 11 wound around the first winding shaft 10.
