PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for compensating the measurement of the quantity of coal produced by a lateral mill, which can grasp the quantity of coal produced by lateral mill with accuracy and besides can remove the discrepancy in the entire flow rate of fuel, by compensating the discrepancy in the converted quantity of produced coal accompanying the change of the kind of coal, and can enhance the controllability of main steam temperature and main steam pressure, and can lead to raising the rate of load change. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an operation compensating circuit 11 which gets the migration average 15 of the quantity 14 of produced coal based on a lateral mill coal supplier command 13, and also gets the migration average 16 of the converted quantity 9 of produced coal, and gets the deviation 17 between the migration average 15 of the above quantity 14 of produced coal and the migration average 16 of the converted quantity 9 of produced coal as the amount of discrepancy of coal production property, and gets a quantity-of-produced-coal correction signal 18 by performing the integration processing so that it may remove the deviation 17 as the amount of discrepancy of that coal production property, and multiplies the above converted quantity 9 of produced coal by that quantity-of-produced-coal correction signal 18 and makes the result the quantity 9' of coal produced by lateral mill.
