PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a faucet to be reliably mounted on a wall surface by simple work in a mounting structure for the faucet, wherein the faucet is fixed to a mounting hole of the wall surface installed in a standing manner. SOLUTION: An upper end of a mounting member 6 fitted into the mounting hole 5 is formed with a locking pawl 10 protruding upward from the front of the wall surface 4, and a lower end thereof is formed with a supporting plate 11 protruding forward of the wall surface 4. In the faucet 12, a back surface facing the mounting member 6 is formed with a suspended plate 16 capable of being locked between the locking pawl 10 and the wall surface 4, and a screw hole 17 is pierced in a bottom surface covering the supporting plate 11 from a lower part. The faucet 12 is externally fitted into the mounting member 6 from the obverse side of the wall surface 4, a fastening member 18 is screwed into the screw hole 17 of the bottom surface, and the supporting plate 11 is pressed from below. Consequently, the faucet 12 is slid toward the wall surface 4, the suspended plate 16 is locked between the locking pawl 10 of the mounting member 6 and the wall surface 4, and the faucet 12 can be fixed to the mounting member 6.
