PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air turn roll capable of preventing wrinkle and scratch of base material. SOLUTION: This air turn roll changing a traveling direction of long traveling base material is provided with an air supply opening for supplying air into a cavity of a turn roll and a air nozzle provided on circumference surface of the turn roll. Quantity of air blown out of the air nozzle is adjusted in a width direction of the turn roll. A partition dividing the cavity of inside of the turn roll in the width direction of the turn roll is provided and an independent air supply opening capable of adjusting quantity of air supply is provided in each cavity of the turn roll divided by the partition. A stabilizer supporting the traveling base material is provided at a gateway part of the turn roll on which the base material travels.
