PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film packaging apparatus which reduces mechanical space to 1/2 to 1/3 of that of a conventional device and has a small capacity of thermal source for shrinkage and which is capable of carrying out curing packaging. SOLUTION: The film shrinking method in the film packaging apparatus 1 comprises shielding or relieving a shrinking hot air to a product with mechanical shielding devices such as an air blow device and a hot air shielding plate, on the basis of operating electric signals when cross sealed.
