PURPOSE: A solid electrolytic capacitor and a fabricating method thereof are provided to improve a contact characteristic between a dielectric layer and an electrolytic layer, a conductive characteristic, and a leakage current characteristic by changing a structure of the solid electrolytic capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric oxide layer(24) is formed on an uneven surface of the first electrode(22) by using an electrical and chemical method. The first electrode(22) is formed by using a metal such as tantal or aluminium. The uneven surface of the first electrode(22) is formed by sintering tantal powders with a binder under temperature of 1400 to 1800 degrees centigrade or etching an aluminium foil. A graphite layer(26) is formed on the dielectric oxide layer(24). A conductive polymer layer(28) is formed on a surface of the graphite layer(26). The conductive polymer layer(28) is formed by a polypyrrole layer(28a) and a polythiophene layer(28b). The second electrode(30) is formed on an upper portion of the conductive polymer layer(28). The second electrode(30) is formed by a graphite layer(30a) and a nickel metal layer(30b). |
