SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of multiple reduction of blank in grooved rolls for obtaining in last but one pass symmetrical cross section strip with concave opposite sides and beveled edges; at last but one pass in each zone of transition of concave strip to beveled edge forming thickened portion restricted by two circle arcs with curvature (0.03-0.15) 1/mm in such a way that one arc is joined with concave side of strip and other arc - with beveled edge and cross section area of thickened portion consists (1-4)% of cross section area of strip.
