PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a bathtub having good appearance by making the spacings between the wall surfaces of a bathroom and the drooping walls in the peripheral parts of the bathtub constant. SOLUTION: This installation structure of the bathtub is constituted by engaging the drooping walls 15 in the peripheral parts of the bathtub 15 with grasping fittings 13 with which the wall surfaces 101, 102 and 103 of the bathroom are fitted and finishing the spacings between the drooping walls 15 in the peripheral parts of the bathtub 15 and the wall surfaces of the bathroom with pointing materials 11. The grasping fittings 13 are provided with fixing sections 132 fixable to the wall surfaces 101, 102 and 103 of the bathroom in their lower side parts and are provided with engaging sections 131 curved and formed by offsetting their positions from the fixing sections 132 so as to form the spacings between their upper side parts and the wall surfaces. The bathtub 15 is installed by inserting and engaging the drooping walls 151 in the peripheral parts of the bathtub 15 into and with these engaging sections 131. The pointing materials 11 are driven into the spacings between the drooping walls 151 in the peripheral parts of the bathtub 15 and the wall surfaces 101, 102 and 103 of the bathroom. |
