<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven toothbrush being easily adjustable in its amount of movement and easily coping with a change in pressure against teeth and the gum. SOLUTION: The motor-driven toothbrush includes a body grip portion 2 with a drive mechanism 1 built therein, and a movable handle part 4 with a brush 3 at its end portion protruding from the body grip portion 2 and operated by the drive mechanism 1. The drive mechanism 1 comprises an eccentric cam 6 rotated by a motor 5 and a cam receiver 7 reciprocated while in sliding contact with the cam 6. The movable handle part 4 is operated as the cam receiver 7 reciprocates. The amount of eccentricity of the cam 6 is variable.</p> |
