<p>The invention concerns a safety barrier for highways or the like, comprising rails in abutted assembly and fixed on posts spaced apart and driven into the ground. The invention is characterised in that at least one rail (10) of the barrier is made of wood and comprises synthetic fibres (12) fixed on at least a rear part of its section, extending over substantially its entire length.
