PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a guide coil for reinforcing an operation wire for operating the tip curved part of an endoscope from being broken easily, in a method for manufacturing the endoscope which has a plurality of node rings connected rotatably and mounted internally and is provided with the tip curved part which can freely be curved by an operation wire engaged with the node rings. SOLUTION: A tip part on the side of the tip curved part of the guide coil is abutted on the inner wall of the cap. The cap is exposed to an arc pillar to heat and melt the outer wall parts of the cap and the guide coil to join the cap and the guide coil.
