PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent winding of hair or thread wastes around a rotary brush and to miniaturize the body of a dust collecting body for collecting dust in a small-width area. SOLUTION: This dust collecting body has a lower rotary shaft 27 arranged rotatably within the body 4 of the dust collecting body an upper rotary shaft 26 arranged rotatably over the shaft 27 and an endless-track rotary belt 18 arranged between the shaft 26 and the lower part rotary shaft and having a dust scraping up part 10. By making the belt 18 in the state of an endless track, its peripheral length is secured to be long and the size of the body 4 in front/back direction is reduced. Thus, operability is improved and dust collection in the small-width area is made possible by the miniaturization of the dust collecting body. Furthermore, winding of hair or thread wastes around the rotary brush is prevented.
