PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding and transfer apparatus for sliced meat receiving a sliced meat in a form flattened in nearly horizontal state, folding the meat into two and orderly transferring the meat pieces to a sliced meat delivering apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus for the folding and transfer of sliced meat is provided with a sliced meat folding and transferring part 6 placed between a sliced meat supplying apparatus 1 to supply a sliced meat piece (m) in a nearly horizontally spread state and a sliced meat delivery apparatus 7 to receive and deliver the sliced meat (m) for folding. The folding and transferring part 6 supports the nearly middle part of the sliced meat (m) supplied by the supplying apparatus 1 with an end face, folds the meat into two by straddling the meat in longitudinal direction and guides the meat with a guiding face being in contact with the back face of the folded sliced meat piece (m). |
