PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blister case for a contact lens in which a sealing seat surface of a lens housing part thereof is able to be planed and improved strength is obtained, as a result, the blister case having a uniform appearance is able to be repeatably made and damage prevention from an impact in a distributing process or the like helps secure a closed state (an aseptic condition). SOLUTION: This blister case for the contact lens is a case for preserving the contact lens, comprising a vessel body including a recess capable of housing the contact lens and a solution for preserving the contact lens and a flange extending outside around a circumference thereof (a), a cover made of a plastic resin abutting on a circumference of an opening end part of the recess and welded onto the vessel body so as to seal the recess (b), and a knife provided on the cover for breaking the seal on the recess (c).
