PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a healthy bed which is prepared in such a manner that a useful function for the retention of health contained in charcoal is utilized to the maximum, and in addition, an electromagnetic wave being harmful to the body can be shielded as well. SOLUTION: This healthy bed is equipped with a tray-shape bed frame, and a charcoal layer of a specified thickness. In this case, a peripheral wall of a specified height is arranged around the peripheral edge of the bottom plate of the bed for the tray-shape bed frame. The charcoal layer is arranged on the peripheral wall of the bed frame and on the internal side of the bottom plate. Then, on the charcoal layer on the bottom plate, a Tatami mat is preferably mounted.
