A system for preparing distributed application programs on a user terminal, in which the application programs are at least partly accessible in data banks and the data from the databanks is made available, and in which the application program can be attained by an application platform with the aid of communication devices, and in which the user terminals are connected to the application platform, and in which the user terminals are connected via the application platform to the application programs and in which the communication module makes available the communication between the application platform and application programs. An independent claim is also included for the use of a system for preparing distributed application programs.
