PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sterilize a nursing bottle easily and securely by using a microwave oven without damaging parts of the microwave oven or the lamp. SOLUTION: The sterilization lamp 10 consists of a non-electrode lamp 20 and a holder 30. The non-electrode lamp 20 comprises rare gas and mercury enclosed in a small-diameter glass tube which transmits at least ultraviolet rays and generates ultraviolet rays with the wavelength suitable for the sterilization by a high frequency current of the microwave oven toward the periphery. The holder 30 is engaged with the mouth 53 of the main body of a nursing bottle 50 for hanging and holding the non-electrode lamp inside the main body of the nursing bottle. The inside/outside of the nursing bottle is sterilized by holding the sterilization lamp inside the nursing bottle and making the lamp emit light with the high frequency current of the microwave oven. |
