PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing meat and a system therefor through proliferating the cells or tissue of livestock. SOLUTION: This method for producing meat comprises taking cells or tissue from the meat or stem cells of livestock and keeping the cells or tissue under an ambience suitable for the culture thereof to proliferate the cells or tissue, wherein the above cells or tissue are taken from the smooth muscle or striated muscle of the livestock, then placing the cells or tissue on a substrate, supplying nutrients thereto, and making a three-dimensional culture, thereafter detecting the kind and concentration of the protein or DNA or RNA or other physiologically active substance(s) of a sample taken and making a feedback of the result to the proliferation control of the culture, wherein the control in the feedback is represented by the disposal of the cells or tissue, or medicinal administration or the treatment of affected parts by altering ambience. The system for making the above culture comprises a culture unit, a means for preserving the ambience suitable for the proliferation and a unit for supplying nutrients/washing. |
