PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf board mounting structure for a cabinet which helps one removably mount even a shelf board, the front end of which projects long, so that it may not easily fall off. SOLUTION: In this shelf board mounting structure for a cabinet, a shelf board 1 is removably mounted between both side plates 2 of a cabinet A. Approximately horizontal engagement grooves 6 opened to the sides and the back are provided at the side ends of both sides of the shelf. Dowels 3 provided in a projected state in the insides of the back of the side plates 2 of both sides of the cabinet A are engaged with the engagement grooves 6.
