PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drink dispensing machine, especially a coffee dispensing machine having an inlet port of especially a compressed solid cleaning agent. SOLUTION: The drink dispensing machine has improved usability and safety in cleaning procedure. The machine is furnished for the above purpose with a closed metering and charging apparatus 1 for a cleaning agent having a discharge port 10, a storage vessel 4 protected from the discharge port 10 and at least one metering and charging unit 8 and performing automatic charging of the cleaning agent.
