PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawstring for a pet, hardly causing displacement of the drawstring penetrating a slidable fixing tool for regulating the length of a ring-like holding part of the drawstring. SOLUTION: The slidable fixing tool 5 for regulating the length of the ring- like holding part 7 of the drawstring 1 composed of a belt-like body 2 is formed into a square plate-like body 5d, and the first through hole 5a having nearly the same size as the cross section shape of the belt-like body 2, and the second through hole 5b having a thickness size with nearly twice thickness as long as the cross section shape of the belt-like body 2 are formed in the square plate-shaped body 5d. A protrusion part 5e is protruded from the plate-like body 5d, and an engaging hole 6 for engaging the second hook 4 at the rear end part of the belt-like body 2 to the protrusion part 5e is formed in the protrusion part 5e. The belt-like body 2 is regulated so that the belt-like body 2 may pass through the first through hole 5a from the lower side to the upper side, and further may pass through the second through hole 5b from the upper side to the lower side so that edges at the upper and lower sides of the first through hole 5a may come into contact with the uneven surface 2a in a lateral stripe shape, formed on the belt-like body 2.
