PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a pattern closely resembled to bamboo. SOLUTION: This fishing rod is constituted so that the fishing rod may have a layer formed on a layer 10J and 10J' formed on the surface of a rod pipe and having a prescribed ground color, and having portions with a thickness in the degree of allowing the ground color to be seen through the layer, and a speck pattern 10H with a color different from the ground color.
