摘要 PURPOSE: A method for correcting level of screw down in a hot rolling mill is provided to prevent facility accidents and deterioration of working efficiency due to double operation by integrating a magnet clutch selection switch and a screw down operation switch. CONSTITUTION: The method for correcting level of screw down in a hot rolling mill comprises the steps of setting a basic integration value by selecting up/down buttons so as to set a level correction time as much as an amount required by an operator on a main machine interface; transmitting the set data to PLC by selecting a confirmation button after adjusting the level correction time more accurately by selecting an integration or subtraction button; transmitting magnet clutch open signals to a thyristor panel after confirming separate operation of the screw down by receiving the data from the PLC, and confirming open conditions of a magnet clutch(130); calculating up/down operation and level correction time of a work side motor(110) by level correction signals received from the main machine interface after receiving the separate operation confirmation signals from the other calculation part of the PLC, and transmitting control signals by the calculation results to the thyristor panel after confirming operation conditions of the screw down by receiving the magnet clutch open signals; and correcting level of the screw down as much as a required amount by driving the work side motor(110) by the control signals after opening the magnet clutch(130) by the signals transmitted to the thyristor panel.
