PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher which can be installed smoothly on a sink top and from/to which dishes are put out/in easily. SOLUTION: In the dishwasher 1, a washing chamber 3 is short in its front/ rear direction and long in its right/left direction, and a front surface 31 is formed of a slope. An opening 30 and an opening/closing door 5 are provided on the front surface 31. The door 5 has an upper door 16 the upper end part of which is turnably supported and a lower door 17 the lower end part of which is turnably supported. The front half part of a table-ware basket 4 can be drawn from the chamber 3 and placed on the rear surface of the door 17. Since the wheels 29 of the basket 4 are provided at three places on each of both sides, the basket is moved smoothly. Since the door 17 is opened prior to the door 16, the surrounding never gets wet and since the opening operation of the door 5 and stopping of washing operation cannot be done simultaneously, water is never splashed.
